Lanternflies on the Loose (Online Lecture)
Emelie Swackhamer, Horticulture Extension Educator at Pennsylvania State University

What's black and white and red all over? Spotted lanternflies! These polka-dotted pests are wreaking havoc on East Coast crops and quickly spreading across the U.S. Join Emelie to learn more about the biology of these introduced insects and how invasive pests can have major effects on agricultural plants. Hear about how insect invasions happen and learn more about how farmers and researchers respond to waves of new pests.
