POWER OF PLANTS WITH CALABASH TEA & TONIC: LOCAL CHEF SERIES (ONLINE COOKING DEMO)
Dr. Sunyatta Amen, founder of Calabash Tea & Tonic

Two images set together, on the left Dr. Sunyatta Amen stands in her shop, Calabash Tea & Tonic, smiling, wearing a black hat, and holding a glass of tea, on the right is an image of a garden showing some brightly colored flowers and lots of greenery in an urban setting

In our local chef series, we explore recipes from here at home to around the world and the plants that bring these recipes to life. This month, Dr. Sunyatta demonstrates surprising plant-based recipes highlighting the use of allspice, habanero pepper, hibiscus, and more! Join us to discover dishes and cuisines that celebrate how plants shape our food and culture.
