BLOOM: PLANT-INSPIRED POETRY (ONLINE WORKSHOP)
Sherwin Bitsui, Poet, and Adam Pyle, USBG Horticulturist

During this workshop, Sherwin and Adam will probe the powerful link between nature and poetry. Following a discussion, workshop participants will hear Sherwin read his work as they contemplate their own writing. Participants will take inspiration from the USBG’s plant collection or their own surroundings. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will write their own poems.

Please note: This program is being supported by a collaboration with The Folger Shakespeare Library and the Friends of the U.S. Botanic Garden. It is part of the Folger’s O.B. Hardison Poetry Series.
