THE RETURN OF PERIODICAL CICADAS (ONLINE LECTURE)
Dr. Mike Raupp, Professor Emeritus at the University of Maryland and Fellow of the Entomological Society of America

Known for their 13- and 17-year life cycles and mass emergences, periodical cicadas are unique in the insect world. During this online program, join Dr. Raupp as he explores the natural history, ecology, and behavior of the seven species of periodical cicadas indigenous to North America. Learn when these cicadas will appear, how they survive, and how they will impact humans, pets, wildlife, and plants in our region.
