ONLINE LECTURE: USBG AT 200 (PART 1): DEEPLY ROOTED
Devin Dotson, USBG Public Affairs Specialist, and Dr. Susan Pell, USBG Deputy Executive Director

Join us for this online lecture as we look back at the first 200 years of the U.S. Botanic Garden. Through historic photos and documents from our archives, learn how the Garden is rooted in American history with ties back to George Washington. During this program, see how the Garden has grown through time since it was established by the U.S. Congress in 1820. The U.S. Botanic Garden is the oldest continuously operating botanic garden in the United States.
