Press your petal to the paper! Join us online for this fun family program as we demonstrate how to press your own plants and flowers. Learn how to make your own plant press from things around your home and discover the best ways for your family to turn fresh flowers into long-lasting treasures!

If you want to work along with the instructors during the demo, please prepare the following:
Freshly collected plants or plant parts to press and dry

Materials needed for a plant press:
Stiff material for the frame (plywood, thick cardboard, wire fencing, etc.) – generally 12x18” or smaller, but can be any size

Cardboard or foam pieces
Newspaper Strap material (rope, bungee cords, ratcheting straps, etc.)

Materials needed if not using a plant press:
Paper to go around the plant (any type that won’t bleed color/ink)
Something flat and heavy to weigh down plants (books, bricks, etc.)

Please note: Registration closes at11:55 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Friday, November 20, 2020. Participants will be emailed the link to access the lecture at 12:15 a.m. ET on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
