**FULL** ONLINE ART WORKSHOP: BOTANICAL DRAWING 101

Learning to draw flowers and plants is fun and easy! This online program is designed for the beginning and intermediate student (ages 16-adult) interested in learning the basics of botanical drawing. No prior experience is necessary, only a love for flowers and art! This online workshop will include a study of basic drawing techniques in pencil and ink, careful study of botanical anatomy, forms and textures, and an introduction to basic composition.
Please note: This online program has a 100 person limit. Participants will be emailed the link the day before the online workshop occurs. Registration will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2020. This program will be recorded and available for viewing after the workshop concludes.
Suggested Materials List:
1 sketchpad 9”x 12” or acid-free drawing paper
1 2H pencil; 1 B pencil; 1 F pencil
1 set of permanent black ink drawing pens, nib sizes 01-07
Assorted sizes paper tortillions and/or stumps for blending
1 small pocket pencil sharpener
1 kneaded eraser
1 “pink pearl” or similar type eraser
